"Johnny" created quite a stir from the beginning of his show career to the end. Starting in mid February, he was WD his first time out at the Collie Club of New England specialty under Lee Runnels, completing his title 8 weeks later at the Central Penn CC specialty under Peggy Conger. He took another major at the Hunterdon Hills specialty, and two group placements from the classes at his first all breed shows. His first time out as a special, he was Best of Breed at the Tri County specialty.
