“Buster” was the foundation sire for the entire Tartanside family.   This red burnished mahogany dog set the stage for generations to come as both a multiple all breed Best in Show and group winner and as a strong, prepotent producer.  Known for his aristocratic demeanor and beautiful expression, “The Gladiator” was an all breed Best in Show winner as well as a being one of a very select group of individuals to win Best of Breed at the coveted National Specialty.   He was one of a select group to win the National Specialty on three different occasions, the last time making Collie history as the first dog to win Best of Breed from the veterans class. He was the #1 sire in the breed for several years, and produced 49 American champions.
